The "I hate my town" thread

I hate my town. I'm not joking when i say that they best thing to do in my town is to head over to the next town and hang out at the mall. For a long time all we did was hang out at the Thrift store, and when it closed at 5 we all went and hung out in safeway till we were kicked out.

And the next town over isnt much better. The Sunrise Mall there is horrible. It's in a ramshakle condition and crawling with the homeless. The Arcade (the only decent store in the mall) was tore down for a hot topic. There is an A&W Amercian Burger, but since its a mall stand all you get is Root Beer, Two types of Burgers, fries and maybe a corn dog if you get there early enough. Its even small for a mall and is usually last to be stocked because its so remote.

And the other day i find out that the malls rules are super gay. I cant take pictures in the mall. I pulled out a camera and took a picture and one of the attendents comes up and tells me i cant do that. But a few weeks later and that same attendent is posing for a picture being taken by a some girl. I can't take a picture because the there afraid that you might be taking pictures in the changing rooms, but i can share that same changing room with a girl and no one cares.

I hate my town and the town next to it.

At least you don't have our mall. It's called the McDade mall and all there is there is war veterans. It is one floor. They closed down the movie thetre, the arcade, and the game store fucking blows. All of the games in the center are broken and the only one that works is a deer shooting game. They have a knock off store of Hot Topic called Alter Ego which is the gayest and possible the worst store I have ever gone into. It gives me down syndrome to walk into it. On top of that, the only good store in the mall is called Village Leather and it is run by gay bikers I think. They sell state quarters for a dollar each and they sell Pokemon cards too. The only reason it is the best store is because they have a Sienfield autograph in the window. Oh yeah, it also has an FYE which sells only the best cds. It also has a bootleg clothes store called Clothes Corner. I almost forgot they had a Fashion Bug and a Payless. There is also a Payless and a jigaboo Ruby Tuesdays across from the mall. There is a McDonalds and a Burger King right next to eachother too. That's the best place to go in town. Did I mention I lived next to a church and people go there everyday? My town sucks. :(

Too bad you guys dont live in the town next to mine, it has a mall "fairlaine town center" thats three levels high and about a mile long with a star theatre that has about 20 theatres in it. and is down the street from the ford world headquarters, where all the rich kids drive brand new mustangs :lol

where the hell do you people live? there's something like 9 or 10 malls in San Antonio, each of them two or three floors in size. we even have one called the "murder mall" where you can buy gangs or some shit.

I live In Williamsburg, Va, where our enterntainment must be created purely by our own making. Without any mall for about an hours distance and with only a Wal-Mart for a true destination, alchohol, drug use, and sexual deviance are the only means of entertainment for the tired and bored youth of the town. Behind the closed doors and subteranian kitchens of the Colonial Restaraunts and various tourist aimed stores, the teenage masses smoke and drink while cooking you your 300% mark-uped piece of super-market brand steak. The nearest town to me is 30 miles away. It is literally full of inbreds...and it only has 7 cops. Another 30 miles is another city where the only thing to do is spit at hobos and hippies.

My town's alright. It's small, and has lots of crazy folks living down by the river in the apartments, but it has an arcade with an air hockey table.

Actually, I'm not too sure if the arcade is within my town's borders, but whatever.

I live in the Richest town in alberta. It also has droves of homeless indians living in a ravine that was made into a small park. And some guy ho hoocked up a canoe uoutside to a bike rack :(

Cause you want to base boredom on mall size and location all of us Davis kids have to go to Woodland to find a mall or a Wal-Mart and the mall has a Target and an Orange Julius and um...one of those South East Asian run fake hair and bandana stores. Meh, Roseville is usually a planned trip. The mall is actually really cool but most of the time we just go across the street to Golfland Sunsplash because of the giantic arcade. :posh

The nearest mall to me is 3 hours away, which is good cause malls are for fags. The population of my town varies between 6000 and 8000 depending on the season. We have two bands, both of which i am obligated to say are good because i know all the people in both of them. About 60 percent of my town is mormon, and they run the police and all the other services so it is basically a religious autocracy. We do have drugs and fucking though, but if they could take those away they would.
