i used to work for godiva years ago. it made me gain 15 lbs. those 15 are gone now but i have fond memories of truffle fights and constant "taste testing quality checks" still with me. how i miss the delightful flavor of the savory key lime truffle.

I've never been able to tolerate the taste of chocolate, save in one form. Hershey's Symphony bars, milk chocolate of course, are fucking delicious.

Hersheys chocolota bars are fucking rancid - hideous aftertaste. Give me lindt or even cadburys any day of the week.

lindt makes some 70%, 85% and even 99% cocoa dark chocolate. The 99% is not found everywhere but it kills its mother.
Also dark chocolate with tiny pieces of chocolate "beans" - this is the real thing.

"it kills its mother"?

i don't believe i've heard that expression - is that a fond remark?

translated from french. It may not make any sense, yes, but I use it in french so why not. Heh.

It means something like "it rocks".

Il tue sa mère? I've not heard that, but I've hardly been exposed to any French idiom.

yeah, it's like real bad slang. Had you ever heard of it, it would mean you'd have been hangin out with the kind of person you shouldn't.
