Windows Media Player not playing DVD sound

It plays sound on SOME DVDs, but not all of them. Don't really know what else to say. :/

Use the DVD player that comes free with the dvd drive or download one.

It might not have the right codec installed.

Or it just wants love. :(

All DVD sound on my PC is for some reason fuzzy and crackly. Not so with music CDs or sound files or anything else, but DVD sound gets fucked.
