That sums it up. I uninstalled the SP2 service pack, and that didn't help.
Answers now. I'm not interested in waiting forever like my last topic, only to have some faggot like Blue give a retarded answer.

I've tried re-hooking up to Kazaa and had problems :/ I think it has something to do with Kazaa won't work if you have Spyware or things preventing there Cookies.

Either that or Kazaa is blocking Kazaa Lite because it was illegal to begin with.

is the xp firewall still enabled after uninstalling sp2? Not that I have ever heard of that causing a connection problem with kazza, but you could try that. Also are you running any other firewall programs?

I still use Kazaa Lite and dont have any problems. After re-installing sometimes it just takes a while to connect the first time. Just close it, but let it run in the background. It should connect after a little while.

I'm still using Kazaa Lite, but it's getting increasingly pointless. Even a file that's shared by multiple people will immediately spring to "More sources needed" and most likely stay there. I always have to qeue several sources of the same file and hope that at least one of them will start downloading.
