Here's a band that I thought was brilliant. I've heard rumours that one of the members is starting to play there songs again. I thought The La's where kind a cool and they disappeared too. Any brits out there that liked these band's and know some more history on these bands?... if they had side projects that are mentionable or bands similar to them that are any good?

Most of The Las became Cast, who were absolutely dreadful, but I remember reading The Las were going to reform a while back.
Ian Brown, the singer for the Roses does solo stuff, don't know if he plays any of their stuff live though. He is in Return Of the king for about ten seconds. The guitarist did The Seahorses who were also terrible. One of the others plays in Primal Scream now.
Thats all I know...always preferred the Happy Mondays to the Roses meself.
