he was a pioneer and i loved his films greatly. i used to wish i was a russ meyer girl. now my dreams are crushed, i'll never be a russ meyer girl now.

I didn't hear about this untill today in my film class, My teacher mentioned it and it totally bummed me out :(

I admit I've never seen his films, but he could wrassle big boobs like no one else.
I hope my revival house runs some kind of tribute soon. Faster, Pussycat, Kill! Kill! (along with Warhol's Chelsea Girls) is on my Cinematic Holy Grail list.

i saw John Waters tonight and he talked about he and Divine meeting russ. he was real bummed that Russ died. :(:(
