What the fuck, they have these lying around ready to update whenever people die? Or is Sharon Osbourne really dead?

I meant Reeve, not Sharon Osbourne. Apparently the ghouls at ABC are determined to be first to bear the bad tidings.

Captain Goodtimes

Maybe sharon is possibly dead too i mean id they are forms how would they know that she is survived by ozzy and their kids, what if they die first, that would be more incoveient.

Either way, reeves is dead and I am terribly sad. :(

Well, apparently, they have one of these ready for both Ozzy and Sharon, and upload whichever "works out".

Man, this is sad. :( I mean, I don't want to sound like an Oprah fag, but there was something kinda inspirational about the way he kept promoting methods to help people like him. But he really looked terrible near the end of his life.

What the fuck, they have these lying around ready to update whenever people die? Or is Sharon Osbourne really dead?

Oh, definitely. That they have them lying ready, that is. For all the famous old people or celebrities with disease, they have documentaries and articles lying ready, needing only a touch-up before they're put on the air or online.

That's how a couple of years ago, one of our princes got declared dead prematurely.

Fuck, I totally forgot to download/print the Sharon Osbourne thing, and now I want to use it in my freelance writing class in three days. Anyone got a bckup or a print they can scan?

Oh, and Jixby: go to abcnews.com and search their site for 'xxx' or 'xxxx'. Right now you'll only find sports page templates (like xxx win again!) and some other shit, though :(

Pre written obits for famous people goes back at least a few generations. My Grandfather on my Mom's side used to write 'em for the washington post, and keeping them updated used to be a whole job. Entry level writers got stuck with the 'dead file'.

And it's sad Chris Reeve died.

But death is always funny, and tragic death is funnier and tragic celebrity death is a gut buster.

Funny and sad don't have to be separate things.

My brother ran around trhe room singing "Kryptonite! Kryptonite!" and laughinng really hard.

I always liked him and I thought he was a good superman. Because, really, that is the measure of a person.

Several interviewed doctors indicated that he lived at least 2 years beyond what the average is for that kind of injury.

Luthor was a much better foe than Zod ever was, because Luthor was a sneaky little bastard. Anybody read Red Son? SNEAKY LITTLE BASTARD.

fuckin rule of thirds

Chic from Psycho
Rodney Dangerfield
Christopher Reeve

It never fails

Supafly345

Please explain the rule of thirds. You can't just take the last three people that died and say "that's the rule of thirds." Maybe if they all died in the same day, or one a day for three days there would be a rule of thirds, but in that case this doesn't apply.

Spectre X
Oct 11th, 2004, 04:45 PM
Three famous people dieing in a relatively short ammount of time.

And it's Rule of Threes.

Supafly345
Oct 11th, 2004, 04:57 PM
Last time someone mentioned that it was 5 people, not three. Maybe it is really the rule of fives and nobody notices the other two.

Too much attention was given to Christopher Reeves :/ Margot Kidder is even more amazing that she is alive In 1996, when Margot was going to write a biography of herself, she began to get paranoid, and her computer contracted a virus. Her manic depression, then took its toll. She panicked, and created problems in her head. This led to her fantasizing that her first husband was going to kill her, so she left her home, and feigned death. She even altered her appearance for dramatic effect. After an intervention took place, Margot got back on her feet and started the mental wellness campaign. Since then Margot has sustained her career in film, television, and theater, recently appearing in a Canadian stage production of "The Vagina Monologues". Margot continues to work screen magic and life wonders with her mental wellness campaign. A beautiful person extrinsically and intrinsically, Margot shows no signs of disappearing from her career any time soon, and that's just how her fans like it!
