I know someone on here is expirienced in this particular area of.. stuff. So I'm building one of these things, I've got the cabinet, it's an old Astro Blaster with the original monitor, I intend to use said monitor and just gut the cabinet. Anyway, I've been talking to two guys who claim to know what they're talking about, but neither of them agree on any specs. One says I need a top notch intel processor, and then other says something else, and then theres arguing, and then I cry a lot, and then it happens again in a week. So I ask of you, kind sir, what kind of specs do I need to run this thing?

depends on what games you want to install. most games run on far less than the fastest cpu.

I have a duron 900 in mine and it runs most things pretty good, with the exception of narc, mk3, tekken, and some newer games.

Using the original monitor could be a problem though, you usually need a special video card from waht i remeber. but then again you should talk to mcclain hes built a couple and ive only built one
