Russo: We make video games. Our current project is a coin-op dance game. I haven't mentioned anything about it here because not many people here like those games. The project's website is http://www.neonfm.com and our prototype machine is here on May 13, which is also when the party for it is. We've already signed with a huge arcade manufacturer/distributor so investors aren't really needed at this point - Betson funds our needs pretty well.

Clain: That's Potatoe's office and he just likes to be surrounded with people he respects. We don't actually make arcade games starring Bill Cosby. At least not until we branch into porn.

Dole: The door to it is in one of the warehouse pictures.

Supafly: Since we work with Betson and they're a huge vending distributor in addition to arcade distributor, getting a coke machine and a snack machine would probably be cheaper than a cooler and a pantry. And we're looking into it, we've just been too busy to active seek it yet.

Oh, and we got all of this space because we needed something ground-level that would hold a dance machine and we needed to make lots of noise and have no-one care. So, this was the closest fit. We're thinking of building an arcade in the remaining space.

How does it work and how much does it cost to play?

You step on the colored circles as instructed on-screen to a beat. The cost per game is dependant on the settings chosen by the operator.

Very cool. I have seen these types of machines but I have never actually played with one so I am not sure how it works.

Does it let you know when you hit the wrong circle? What is showing on the screen when you play?

And...did you build this? If so, wow, great for you! :)

I didn't physically build the cabinet. I designed it in illustrator and do all the marquee/decal art (as well as 99% of the art in the game) and gave it to an engineer to build from there. The technology of getting it to 'work' is handled by our lead programmer.

A problem I always have with coloring things is the color quality. For example, I tried to design a parody propaganda poster, but couldn't give the reds that scratchy quality that they normally get with age.
