View Full Version : I got a job offer :O

The company I've been doing my co-op work terms with offered me a permanent job today.
They are going to pay me crazy amounts of money for a starting salary and there's good benefits. Plus I get two weeks of vacation per year for the first two years, and three weeks per year after that. :)
Now I can slack off in my final term because I have a jobby. :)

I had a jobby this morning. It was more satisfying than most.
I'm a software developer. We make financial planning software and most financial institutions in the U.S. and Canada use our stuff. Because I got into the co-op program that my university offers, I'll be graduating in January with a full year of work experience. It's delayed my graduation by 8 months, but the experience is much more valuable that leaving school earlier.
Four more months of classes and then I never have to go to university again. :)

:) Hey that sounds like what I've done for my degree. Four year course with a placement in the third year.
Although you'll be on a much bigger salary than me. :/ Where I live the money is rubbish for IT and there aren't many jobs.

Yo! I was in coop. All the A students got job placements and the rest of us didn't. So I quit.
