How long has this been going on for, and why wasn't *I* informed?

This is awesome, except for the fact that it only has N64 games that everyone who isn't retarded already owns. :/

It's been out for several years, at least since 2003.

"Animal Crossing" was released on the Nintendo 64 in Japan. What's available in America now is actually a sequel of sorts.

Hi, those all-in-one systems are not intended as cheap systems for small kids? I suposse everyone knows those cheapsystems consisting of a controller integrating an atari 2600 plus some games, all this costing bellow 30 Euro (in $ i don't know how much, maybe 35...)
Naturally those systems are ultra-obsolete technology in a 'trendy look' box.
Well... That Nintendo is Obsolete Technology in a 'trendy look' box, but this is no ultra-cheap :( In fact, here in Barcelona a year ago or so, you can still buy an N-64 new in box whith 2 games for 20$ or less.
And any new game for a pimping 5 bucks...
Surely the games will be cheap, but the big business may be in the memory cards...
P.S. In Spanish the name " I Que" sound equal to "Y Que" this means "And so?" . My actual throught about this thing...

I'd pay $30 if they put it out in English. Has enough good games to be worth at least that.

Just buy an N64 and some games for it
What are they, like, $20 now?

Oct 20th, 2005, 07:10 PM
Yeah, but the cost of the games add up. Plus they're not always that easy to find used.
Guitar Woman
Oct 20th, 2005, 07:35 PM
Yeah but at least you can choose what games you get, instead of ones you probably already have :/

I wanna try to work on a complete 64 collection sometime. I'll start it when I finally find Clayfighter: Sculptor's Cut though. :(

I doubt the IQue will ever leave China, as it was basically created as a way for the Chinese to play Nintendo without importing systems and games and whatnot.

I don't have any, beyond the Zelda 64 games which I have for GameCube. n64 was a piece of crap so I never bought one, although there were enough good games that came out. The system itself was just a blurry mess and had no good RPGs. PS1 was a billion times better, so I just had one of those...

If by "blurry" you are refering to the 64's graphics, no. PS1's retarded grainy 3D made my head explode, while games such as Rogue Squadron and Perfect Dark were like sex for my eyes.
Also the N64's 3 RPGs were all awesome. >:

Quest 64? Yeah, oh man, I'm so sad I missed that instead of FFVII, VIII, IX, Chrono Cross, FF Tactics, Grandia, et al. If only I had had one of those n64s! :lol

FF7-9? Get off my internet. >:
Also Chrono Cross what the hell
Way too many characters to fit into a friggen 3-person party. And a masamune-wielding knight named Glenn? Not like I haven't heard that before. :/
As for the rest of the PSX RPGs, a good portion of them were just a collection of fancy FMVs and predictable storylines. In fact, I'm leaving PSX rpg land right now. What a gay place to be in >:

Hybrid Heaven
Ogre Battle 64
Harvest Moon
Well, may/maybe not RPGs, close to it though.
I know there were a buttload of Japanese N64 RPGs, though.

I've heard of ogre battle, but I've never had the pleasure. What's it like?
Also Harvest Moon is a farm sim :rolleyes

Anyone that rejects the pleasures of Harvest Moon knows nothing of gaming. I've only played the SNES version, but that was one of the most addictive games ever made. >:

Hybrid Heaven was a weird game. I remember renting it and liking it, then someone gave it to me becuase i was the only one that wanted it, then i sold it. Then I totaly forgot about it because noone has mentioned it til now.

Ogre Battle 64
Harvest Moon
hell yea
HM64 is still my favorite one. FMT comes close but not quite. I own them all and bought the SNES online when it first came out after be enticed by the features in NP. It's one of those games that sounds wierd but is actually very enjoyable. I have been disappointed greatly by the PS2 and Gamecube versions however which I sadly own both.
Ogre Battle 64 is great. If you ever played the Ogre Battle series, it's just like that except updated and a pretty good story to go along with it. I've only played it all the way through once but it was great.
