WELL THEN I GUESS WE'LL HAVE TO MAKE IT A FOOD TOPIC WON'T WE >:

This thread is now about Subway's toasted subs.

I think they suck.

MetalMilitia
Jan 11th, 2006, 03:11 PM
Thats just because you suck at ordering good things on them. I mean honestly, they give you a reasonable selection of things. You must be able to make atleast one tastey toasted sub.

It's not so much the toppings as it is the bread. It's all crumbly and nasty, and in some cases soggy.
Fuck you Subway >:

I like my tuna subs toasted. When I used to go to Quiznos they used to put one of those sauces on the roll, too. I don't know which sauce, but it made it fucking delicious. They stopped doing it and I don't want to ask for them to put it on and then it be the wrong sauce. I think it was red, that's all I remember. Red wine vinegrette maybe?

Hey guitar woman, you know when you write in capitals it looks like your SHOUTING. Its very bad netiquette.

ADDED: Here is a small netiquette guide to help get you started:

Guitar Woman

ha ha ha metalmilitia that was truly a first-class jest on your part which i found hilarious!

- Use mixed case. UPPER CASE LOOKS AS IF YOU'RE SHOUTING.

- Use symbols for emphasis. That *is* what I meant. Use
underscores for underlining. _War and Peace_ is my favorite
book.

- Use smileys to indicate tone of voice, but use them sparingly.
:-) is an example of a smiley (Look sideways). Don't assume
that the inclusion of a smiley will make the recipient happy
with what you say or wipe out an otherwise insulting comment.

- Wait overnight to send emotional responses to messages. If you
have really strong feelings about a subject, indicate it via
FLAME ON/OFF enclosures. For example:
FLAME ON: This type of argument is not worth the bandwidth
it takes to send it. It's illogical and poorly
reasoned. The rest of the world agrees with me.
FLAME OFF

hahahahaha :<
OH 1995 HOW NAIVE YOU WERE.

This is most probably the best flame I have ever seen :eek

his type of argument is not worth the bandwidth
it takes to send it. It's illogical and poorly
reasoned. The rest of the world agrees with me.

The person who wrote it is obviously a seasoned mocker.

- Remember that talk is an interruption to the other person. Only
use as appropriate. And never talk to strangers.
NEVER.

btw I'm reading off of a linked list. This is apparently the international Netiquette guidelines for 1995. We must bring the boards 'up to code' IMMEDIATELY.

The term 'Netiquette' alone is reason enough for mass homicide.

MetalMilitia

Questioning someone else's spelling is not good netiquette, and not necessary unless it occurs in a critical place, like a possibly mis-spelt URL

ha, I always knew this was the lowest form of Internet mocking.

- Verify all addresses before initiating long or personal discourse.
It's also a good practice to include the word "Long" in the
subject header so the recipient knows the message will take time
to read and respond to. Over 100 lines is considered "long".

Well,I guess I better go ahead and do that........
Don't want to get my Internet shut off by the Web-Cops!

If you include a signature keep it short. Rule of thumb
is no longer than 4 lines. Remember that many people pay for
connectivity by the minute, and the longer your message is,
the more they pay.

Remember kids,YOU WILL PAY. :goth

Remember that people with whom you communicate are located across the globe.

yah. well, they misspelled "misspelled," so no wonder it's against their rules to ridicule it.

It's too bad GW is a lesbo because I find her pretty attractive.

I know that has nothing to do with netiquette, but, there it is.

I had to remove internet and e-mail access for some users when I was on my placement. They had no access for several days or weeks, depending on the severity of the situation. Then add to the fact that these were young nippers it didn't feel like a power trip, it felt really mean.

However, if I could have a pound for every single flipping chain mails I get from my friends saying that my love life is doomed if I don't forward it within ten seconds... it makes no difference, my love life is non-existant anyway!
