Well, honestly you made Shatner look better with that post. Many people believe that he kept the monies for himself, rather than giving it to a charity. Hopefully you have cleared that up for some of the members here

I can't get behind how William Shatner can have a kidney stone removed and sell it for more money than I've ever had at one time when I can't even afford to surgically remove my own kidney stones from my body and I have to painfully pass them through my urethra like "common people"

Well as someone who has experienced the pain of having a kidney stone, I can honestly say that if were ever in a position where my kidney stone was worth 25K, I would sell it and I would keep the money as compensation for my pain.

It's not the fact that he sold it that's so grievous, it's the fact that someone paid real money for it.
