Copied from my LJ

Okay so, Alex (my older brother) was being a douchebag and playing with knives, and he made this swift moment and there was a splatter, and we looked for a moment at his hand.

"...What is that?"
"*thinking* That looks like barbeque sa- OH SHIT BLOOOD!!! WOOOOW!"

His hand was bleeding really really bad, and there were dripplets all over the kitchen floor. Just all over, bright red splatters. And Hopey (my little sister) comes in all slow because we're laughing (my brother a bit less so, 'cuz he was in alot of pain) and I say "Hopey, Alex sliced open his hand!"

She looked around. "I realize that."

The bleeding's stopped, and it's more of a jab than a slash, but that was really funny. His blood looks like cranberry juice XD

He said "I was just playing with the knives, and I stopped and my hand was covered in blood all of a sudden."

My little sister has finally realized what happened, and is running around my mom with huge eyes talking about how gross the blood was.

Sorry to double post, but since it's still bleeding and we don't have any bandages, my mom had him duck-tape a feminine pad to the wound.

lol :(

A feminine pad to his hand? I used that on a buddy who fell and sliced his forehead open. We had to take him to the hospital for stitches and I didn't have anything to staunch the flow of blood. I took one of his mom's feminine napkins and slapped it on his head and made him hold it. He didn't know why everybody was laughing so hard at the ER. He had one red splotch in the middle of the napkin and it made him look like a Japanese on a bombing mission to Hawaii.

Hope the bro is okay.

That reminds me of a Beavis and Butthead episode.

I was hoping this would be a coming of age post about menstruation. :(
