My niece is about to turn two, but I wont be able to be there because of some difficulties concerning my sister, and the child wellfare board.

Anyways I hope he has a nice first birthday, Because you only turn one once :)

Well, given that my first 5 years were a blur, hopefully his 1st birthday will be more memorable then mine:)

The only thing I remember vaguely about my 1st was that I tore into a Big-Bird cake before anyone could get a piece.

his birthday is actually today, but we had his party yesterday so yup, today is the big day...although according to weeks he was 52 weeks old yesterday, but he was born last year on march 20th, soooooooo in my book you aren't late!

and i love that version of happy birthday

metal it's a small chair! it's the best small chair in the world and i'm actually jealous that he has something so comfy to sit in.

he's pretty big, though. the last time he was weighed was a couple of weeks ago cause he had to go to the doc for a high fever (104F). he weighed in at 25 pounds, 8 ounces (with the diaper on). he has his one year well-baby appt tomorrow so i'll get all the measurements then: height, weight and head circumference.

he also got that moo cow thing sitting next to him that interacts with a special dvd. i'm glad that isn't too annoying. it sings this belly button song which cracks me and him up.

ok end annoying mommy talk.

omg. jacob definitely has some heavy bones. :P he doesn't look big, but lucas was only about 25-1/2 lbs at his appointment last week, and he's almost 20 months.

ry used to have a little recliner, but it wasn't nearly as cushy-looking as that one. still, i wish i'd kept it now.
