They broadcast it here last night, and they say they will do it again at 7 PM (Eastern) (http://gbs.tv/) If you're a fan of animation, this is really awesome. If you click on the "PLS File" link iand open it in Winamp, you can watch it.

They also show a bunch of other cool shit on this thing, so it's good for that as well![/url]

The only thing I remember of the Thief and the Cobbler was that it had an awesome trailer.

What was so bad about the Miramax version, aside from the poor release, what did they cut out?

What was so bad about the Miramax version, aside from the poor release, what did they cut out?
They cut out almost the entire ending sequence, added in a few song numbers, gave the Theif and the Cobbler shitty, master-of-the-obvious voice-overs (basically the entire character of the Cobbler was he was extremely shy), gave the animals voice-overs as well, cut out Zig-Zag's gift of a whore, cut out every animation sequence that was incomplete and added other, poorer quality bits of animation, and I could go on. They cut out the scary robot elephants, the bastards!

The original was kind of lacking in the story department, but it was so much better than what was released. They played the original and the Miramax version side-by-side for comparison, and it was really amazing to see what had been done to it.

[edit] The Miramax version wasn't HORRIBLE, but in comparison to the original vision, it was pretty bad.
