Can anyone else do this, I only know of me and 2 other people who can see cells and organisms in my eye, most notably one big paramecium that makes a regular round trip past my pupil evey few minutes.

If you have any sort of hypochondriac tendancies, then whatever you do, don't do a google search on "floaters".

If I look at a light source for a few seconds than shut my eyes I like to try to follow the little purple blob as it drifts but I can't keep up. :( :( :(

I just noticed that in the Doom Movei after Grimm gets knocked out for a littel bit by the pinky demon as hes refocousing on the light you can see the little cells and such.
The best way for me to see them is to look at a bright background, generally clean shite surfaces. Its earie because there supposed to be microscopic yet we can see them with only our eyes.

They're not cells, they're blood vessals that came detached after birth.

What you are seeing is meucas. I thought it was cells and shit at first too when I was young, and my medical mommy explained that any thickness of the liquid over your eye is detectable. And it is usually meucas. If it was a cell it would take up 1/1000000th of your vision space, still being invisible, as there are hundreds of thousands of cells floating over your eye that you can't see at all times.

Don't believe them! You and your two friends are the only people this happens to.

I like to move my eyes really quick from left to right to shake them up, then its like I have my own snowglobes in my skull.

Stax thats whay I do, and I'm sure its not mucous because I can see Arterioles within the moving bodies. I have seen big wavvy blotches like ripples in the fluid.

I was told a long time ago that those are cells from your retina or optic nerve that naturally "flake off" like skin cells, and then they float around. That's why you see more of them with you wiggle your eye because you're shaking more cells loose.
Now this info was from the 80's so who knows if its valid or not.

Yeah, I've got those. They're a bitch this time of year because of all the snow and the bright light.
I remember we had a thread about this where somebody found a forum with a bunch of members and all they did was talk about floaters.
EDIT: Was probably this one.

I'm mereley stating an observation you fucking ass. If I was convincing myself they were something special I'd keep it to myself and spiral downward into depresson.
Jesus, the forums have just been completly bitchy latley, its like all of you vets have a 6 month overdue baby, swelling mammarys, and just lost your last egg.

Arrow just pour gasoline on your eyes and light a match. It'll clear all that crap up.
It'll probably do your acne some good too.

I was just giving you a solution.
The floaters come from your ceasless amusement with the local indiginous animal life up there in Big Foot country. Just leave them alone and in a week this will all clear up.
Or use the gasoline. Your choice, nitwit.

No this has been going on for years. The gasoline is a nogo because I need my eyes to see, somehow playing shadow of colossus with one of those brail tablet things is jsut not fun.

So I guess despite being told no less than three times that those floaters are pre-birth arterioles and junk of the like he still doesn't seem to buy it?
Maybe the floaters in MY eyes are the long-awaited manifestation of my Cyclops-like mutant powers! Shall I await my invite from the X-Men?

I dunno if I buy the prebirth thing either. I mean, cells that supposedly never got reabsorbed by your body since before you were born?
