I noticed that scenes and cliques only apply to people under the age of 19. Youre fricking praised for being in one, and bashed for being in one they dont like. Then when youre an adult, they just dont matter. you dont see two guys in the office saying "look at that emo guy, lets talk him down!" thats just silly. When will kids get it through their heads that there is no such thing as scenes?

That's because people have to stop dressing like that if they want to get normal jobs, thus falling out of the clique. The people in emo bands, goth bands, punk bands, are over 19, and they are obviously included the scene. If someone guy was walking around his office in tight pants and eye liner, you would get guys saying "Hey, check out that emo guy."

Must people sell out there little clique real fast when it's time for job interviews.

Teenagers will do anything to be accepted, especially something as easy as dressing like a moron.

All adults are connected by their crushed souls, so there's no need to strive for acceptance.

I don't dress like any emo dudes, but I hang with them occasionally.
Right now, I am wearing BDUs from Bahrain. Urban Camo, dudes.

My best friend is a Sk8R Punk/Heavy Metal/Emo-Dude hybrid.
Wierd dude.

Did it need quaotation marks?, because I wouldn't have used it in any other context than those damn skateboarders.
I hear that's what the cool kids do nowadays.

No. Only the most retarded "Skater punk" would call themselves a "Sk8r Punk."

I also have a friend that is both Jewish and 1/8th black.

I, however, am 1/16th Blackfoot indian. Technically I can demand reparations from the government for the mistreatment of my people, but that would make me a dick, (which I am not).

JOKE TIME!:

A guy and a little girl go walking into some woods. The little girl looks up at the man and says

"Gee Mister, these woods sure are scary."

The guy looks down at her and replies

"You think they're scary now, your not the one who has to walk out of here alone."

Whats the difference between a jew and a pizza...

...a pizza doesn't scream when you put it in the oven.

HAHAHAHA!

There's only one thing that is more annoying than emo dude, and that thing is emo girl. Seriously, they look fuckin' horrble, and in Finnish schools emo girls usually cry on purpose to make their make up look messy.

Also, they're all like "Yeah like, I really care about things and like, animals are suffering and like, we need to care more about ourselves and like, people are very mean and like, the society is really fucked up and like I cry alot when I think about it and like..."

Which is why you have to leave decimated animals in her back-pack...
because you care.

It's funny that more people whine about emo kids then emo kids whine about anything. Funny, and sad :(

Speaking of all of this EMO crap, you may want to turn on Primetime on ABC right now... "The Secret Life of Teens".

if someone is spreading rumors about you in high school you're supposed to go and find them and punch them in the NECK instead of getting on tv and crying about it, jeeze what is wrong with kids today

Ugh.

The reason people generally don't belong to cliques after 19 is because identity-confusion is an adolescent phase that you grow out of. It's just like how you weren't self-conscious before you turned 13, and like how little kids always want to do things themselves to prove their competence.

Johnny Couth, what are you like 15 or 16? Just wait 8 years and I guarantee that you'll look back at old pictures of your pasty face and jet-black greasy hair as you cry over a cold can of Spaghettios in your dilapidated studio apartment. Alone.

Then explain to me why all the members of the bands that define these scenes are over 19.

I put emphasis on "generally" for a reason. I see thousands of people walking around college every day, and the people that look like they just scrambled their way out of a 90%-off sale at Hot Topic I can count on one hand.

I don't think enough get out of it after highschool to even jusitfy the term generally.
