Wow... honoured with a Geocities memorial. I can only hope in this life that I don't piss anybody off enough to do that for me after I die.

For the first five minutes I was thinking "Okay, there're pictures of a kid. It's sad it had to die, but, what's so wrong with the site?"

So, uh

is he dead?

granted it's a cheesy site, as many of the memorial sites are. however, when you've lost a child like those people have, it's important to keep his or her memory alive. it can be part of the grieving process. i hope none of you have the opportunity to understand it like i have.

she's actually pretty smart (to a degree), a physical memorial as awkward and desperate as that wouldn't last half an hour before some rotten kids came by to kick all the stuff to pieces, but by making it an incredibly bad geocites site she guarantees that nobody is going to even spare the time to vandalize it

It's terrible that they lost a newborn, but I've always found this sort of thing a little disturbing. Not remembering their child, but the dead baby pictures. At least it's not the site for Juliana Whetmore, the little girl that was born with Treachers Collins Syndrome. That one is seriously messed up.

Most people do go sorta crazy when they lose a child that they didnt' even know. Like I had a supervisor who's neighbor kept the fetus of thier miscarried child in their freezer. Which is both crazy and illegal :)

well, considering there were no pictures of their baby alive because their baby never was alive, it doesn't seem crazy at all to me.
