Recently, a protest was held at Fort Benning in Columbus, Georgia to close the School of the Americas. The SOA is an American fort that takes in South and Central American soldiers and teaches them the "art" of genocide, which they've been committing against their own people. Thousands of people were killed in the past year. Entire villages of 800 or more have been completely wiped out. Basically, what I'm saying is, "This thing needs to be obliterated."
If anyone wants to do something about it, I believe there is a petition going around and the protest that happens in November. I hope there won't be many more protests, but rather celebrations of the school being shut down. Thank you.
