Candy companies are trying to put a new spin on peppermint sticks by taking out the peppermint and replacing it with some of the most popular candies of today. So here's a look at all these new varieties of candy canes and how they stack up to the originals.

You mean the classic root beer sticks? Those are good. Haven't seen 'em in stores this season yet...

Yeah, they were definitely among my favorites from that batch.

You mean the classic root beer sticks? Those are good. Haven't seen 'em in stores this season yet...
I'm not sure :/ The only place in here where you can be sure to find candy canes are amusement parks. Not sure if they actually are root beer flavoured, since I think they've always been named as cola canes and such.
Then again, "cola flavored" could attract kids better than root beer flavoured.
