I spoke to my friend andrew, who revealed that the people who were encouraging him goinog "YEAH TELL THE STORY!' were ALSO making fun of him :lol

other thing that happened that night: The party took place at my friend andrew's house, right? so he kicks everyone out, and goes to bed (he lets me hang back a while because we are super pals), and who shows up, but that jerk. Andrew doesn't even know this person, it should be noted. The guy comes in and sits on the couch, seemingly oblivous to the fact that everyone else is gone. He's still in party mode all like "HEY WHATS GOING ON GUYS HAHA!" Andrew tells him he's gotta go, because he wants to go to bed. The dink gets all pissy. "why can't I just chill here, what you think I'm gonna rob you or something?" Andrew tells him again he's gotta go. The jerk leaves, pouting, cursing Andrew out: "you're fucked up dude, seriously"

Did you know that every local mattress commercial in America features cats? This whole thing was based on a specific local commercial where it was clear everyone was REALLY into the whole idea of MASCOTTS. And then I talked to several people in other parts of the country who noticed the same phenomenon. I thought it was weird that MATTRESS SALES was a field that inspired such creativity.
