I rember watching Judy Tenuta, wasn't she similar to Emo phillps? I never heard of this show and I'm surprised considering Wierd Al has such good connections with Canada.

Eh, I wouldn't say ANYBODY is similar to Emo Phillips. Then again, I wouldn't say anybody is similar to Judy Tenuta either. Either way, they both rule and so did the Weird Al Show. Get the DVD set and you'll see what I mean.
