It's just one problem after another with me :( .
I am running WinXP and all that and after a reboot I find I have no sound whatsoever. I hadn't really done anything out of the ordinary except I unistalled Windows Messenger from here:

I don't know if it's connected but whatever.
I've tried system restores up to 4 days prior, and downloading the sound driver from the site to no avail. I googled possible solutions but got nothing. Help pretty pretty please.
