To those of you who want to use an animated .GIF for your avatar but can't figure out why it's not animating, here's why:
If you upload an animated gif that is larger than the allowed size (130x130), it will de-animate the image when it resizes it. But as long as you're within the 130x130 dimensions, your .GIF will will remain animated.
