One of the most well-known, most played, and all-around great games of all time. Many newer puzzle games often get called "Tetris clones", because Tetris was the first of its kind. Anyone that can use a game controller can get the hang of Tetris within minutes. There is really no plot, but with how you play the game, how could you make a plot for it? And besides, I don't think anyone really cares. There is just one goal: Drop the various shaped blocks to make "horizontal lines" and do it as long as you can. Now, I'll admit, this can get a little boring and monotonous, but I don't think you can ever really get completely tired of this game. Overall, Tetris is definitely a classic, long-lasting video game favorite.
