Race Drivin' was the sequal to Atari's Hard Drivin in '88. It was designed to be a driving simulation that utilizes polygon graphics and whips you through corkscrews, ramps and loops. This was one of my favorites in the arcade (first it was Hard Drivin', but that track is actually contained in this game). You choose from 4 tracks and do your damndest to get through em in the time allotted. When you crash, you are treated to an instant replay which some times can be hilarious. Though it may look pale in comparison by racing games of today, this was the pioneer that started it all. Hoping Mame will emulate it soon.
