From 1981-1983 I loved playing this game on my friend's Atari 2600. After my mom bought me an Atari 2600, my friend sold his Space Invaders cartridge to my brother. I was ticked off because he didn't offer to sell it to me first.<BR>The arcade Space Invaders was made by Taito America Corp. This version was made by Atari. <BR>In this game, there are six rows of invaders and six invaders per row. It's a good idea to shoot the bottom invaders first. The more invaders you shoot, the faster they move.<BR>You get three shields. After you shoot so many groups of invaders, your shields disappear. You can't shoot the invaders lasers like on the arcade version.<BR>You get three ships per game and can't get any extra ships. When your ship gets shot, it sounds more like a fart than a ship exploding.<BR>Space Invaders is fun but can get quite boring. You do the same thing over and over again. I give Space Invaders a 5.
