If there is one game worth remembering from my childhood than this is it. Unlike most racing games that you see today, which have a behind the back perspective; this game had a platformer-style side view. This spectacular game is one of the more overlooked games on the Super NES that is actually worth buying at Game Trader (Louisiana's equivalent to FunCoLand), plus Tetris 3 to go with it. It's a damn shame that most of today's video games are full of boring shit(Armored Core, Metal Gear: Sons of Liberty, Halo, all of the recent Final Fantasy games {including FF7}, Virtua Fighter 4, and Tekken are some of the most overhyped trash that I have played) and it any chance of recovery from this scar that Sony Computer Entertainment and many of these sell-out companies have caused is slim to none. While Nintendo, Sega, Totally Screwed Entertainment(creators of Zombie Smashers X), and many independent companies are making truly original and innovative material; Sony and possibly Microsoft are causing many companies to churn out games that not only desecrate their genres(Rage of Dragons & Matrimelee, Kingdom Hearts, Half-Life), but their Creators' greatness as well. If you want another of my video game Ramblings then check out my review of R-Type 2. Now let my review commence...

Game Play: Completely new for racing games. This game has a trick system that not only racks up points, but it also increases your speed. There is the level variety, which also adds to the gameplay.
They range in from stunt stages, drag-racing, to normal race courses in case you're wondering.

The graphics are well-done, but they can get rather repetitive at times. However, there are some pseudo-3d effects that makes it much nicer too look at.

Music & Sound: I don't clearly remember the sound, but the music is ok perhaps.

Originality: If you have read what I said above, then you know what I mean.

In the end, Uniracers is one game that is definitely worth your time; especially if you still keep your NES and Super NES.
