I'm surprised that none of you wimps are writing any reviews to the classic Midway/Williams games other than N.A.R.C. and Mortal Kombat. This was made when WMS(Midway's parent company) and Atari Games/Tengen were trying to better each other; SNK was still making innovative games when they first released the Neo-Geo MVS(before they and Capcom whored out 2d fighting games to the point where they weren't cool anymore); and SF2 created the fighting game craze that lead to the aforementioned Mortal Kombat and the highly gory Time Killers. Before these two were made; this and a few other games were the only gory videogames that were available at that time. This game was similar to Robotron in terms of mechanics since it was created
by Eugene Jarvis.

What I like about this game:
Good graphics and animation that are easy on the eyes.
Fair share of blood and gore; may not be up to par with Splatterhouse, but that was due to the technological limits of the hardware.
Co-operative mode is well-implemented because this game is tough without being frustrating.
Exceptional Voice quality and good music.

What I don't like:
Music doesn't loop; c'mon it gets rather dull when you hear only sound effects.
Somewhat brutal difficulty when there's only one player.

What do I say!? If you see this at an Arcade auction or see a copy of Midway Arcade Treasures;
Get it!
