This has got to be one of the coolest games for the NES ever. for any of you not familiar with this particular game it breaks down like this: In 1997 a huge war fucks everything up and people begin mutating and stuff, and technology is altogether rejected for a hundred years unti some dude named draygon starts combinig magic with tecnology and starts to build this huge freakin' tower in the sky containing some super computer called Dyna while wreaking havoc on the world and doing all sorts of heinous stuff that video game bad guys do.
which is where your cryogenically frozen ass comes into play..your'e suddenly thawed out by four magicians and your job is to find four swords with elemental properties that when combined make the sword crystalis, a sword powerful enough to kick dynas digital ass with
The game play itself is somewhat reminiscent of legend of zelda: a birds eye view of you kicking ass with a a wsord that shoots whatever element it's aligned to..you can get items that make your swords more powerful and gain spells and stuff that let you do all kinds of things like heal, protect yourself, and even change your appearance... overall I must have played this game from scratch several times wich gives it good replay value in my book..and theres even been a re-release of it on game boy color that nintendo put out in 2000...so yeah..overall, Crystalis truly is a great game
