Oh shit! I remember seeing the episode with the polar bear in the cobra uniform on my G.I. Joe tapes. Dr. Mindbender had some insane plan to turn people into animals using "protein" and the black snow guy whose name was like Iceburg or Avalanche or something and replaced Snowjob because everyone made fun of his name and nobody bought his toy, was turned into a killer whale and everyone was horrified and called him a monster but he was just a goddamn killer whale.

DID YOU KNOW:

Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes were originally planned to be brothers? They changed it, because the idea of brother fighting brother didn't sit well with the executives. Also, Snake Eyes being black raised many questions.

In the new G.I. Joe comics, Storm Shadow gave Snake Eyes quite a beatdown, much to my amusement. I'm sure Snake Eyes is going to return the favor, however (if he hasn't already). If you guys haven't read the new comics, check 'em out, I think they're really well done.

I got all the new comics and I think it was an even match. Storm shadow beat the living piss out of Kamakura (and just about everybody else).

I'm also stoked Firefly and Scrap Iron are back in their old costumes.

And I like how it is more grown up and very up to date.


And how could Snake Eyes be black? From day one in 1982 he was blonde haired and blue eyed. Long before there were plans for a cartoon.

Beachhead sucked. He was just thrown in after the first season to boss around the other characters thrown in after the first season, like Lifeline and dialtone and that one computer guy whose name I can't remember and it's pissing me off for some reason.

Beachhead's gimmick was he wore a ski mask all the time, even when it was stupid to do so.
