I've been saying it wrong alllll this time.

A few days ago my brother was like, "Hey, guess what I found out" and he told me how Pwn had come from Warcraft 3, or something, and it was a typo where the guy accidentally put a P instead of an O, and everyone latched onto it, and now it is used Worldwide :eek
So, it is actually pronounced POWNED instead of, how I say it, PAWNED

To be honest it sounds like your problem is not in your pronunciation of the word but rather that you have any need to know how to pronounce it in real life.
