so i'm designing this webpage for my school's robotics lab, and i'm having a bit of a problem.

http://bigtimecow.250free.com/uml/index.html

this is the top menu, and when you view this in firefox it looks just dandy, no space between images, everything looks fine.
but when i view it in internet explorer there is space in between the rows and i just can't understand why!

I've seen this kind of thing before. I think it has something to do with space and tab characters in your HTML. IE is trying to add text after the images and the padding around text is messing up your layout. The other thing you can do is set the padding to 0 on the other table, which might help things.

i messed with the table properties a lot and had no success, but i redid it just using a lot of style positioning.

CHECK IT OUT SONS AND SIRS (IE version is slightly broken, but the robotics lab is totally cool with that because they realize how gay IE is :love)
