Here's the ting: my harddrive on my ENTERTAINMENT/RADIO STATION computer died so I bought a new one. I ransacked everything I own to try and find the restore discs but can not find them. Its no fair that I would have to spend 100 bucks on an OS because well just because

So I am looking for a solution that will not cost me money or make me go into untrustworthy websites where I may end up downloading something sketchy

Does anybody know of any reliable places where I can make this happen? I am looking for windows XP or Vista would be good as well.

My problem with Ubuntu and Linux in general is that web access is a must. You can't add or compile programs without it because you need to download the compilers. Agh. And I can't get any of the audio codecs, either.

I'm left with .ogg and no video functionality on my upstairs computer. It doesn't have a network card.

So yeah.

2. Get to Best Buy
3. Walk into the store and warmly great the slaves in the blue polo's
4. Walk to the Computer Section
5. Handle a copy of Vista
6. Stuff in your pants
7. Run out

Hey guys

Turns out emachines will send me new restore discs even though the computer isn't registered under my name. I just have to pay for shipping!

It costs 20 dollars to ship it!

GADZOOKS

For restore DISCS? Is it coming from Tibet? What a rip!

eMachines are for fools (I would know I owned two) :(

Shit, that twenty bucks is probably for meth or some shit man.

Expect a bag of flaming dog shit once they get your money. You might see one of them tripping onto the ground when you come to answer the door.

Seriously though, 20 to ship a friggin' CD/Floppy? Probably the mail guys who do the meth then. Not enough fucking disclipline in this world man.

I don't think eMachine restore discs work on any computer but the one for which it's specifically designed. BUYER BEWARE!

Fuck yeah I said METH, what the fuck do you think? Same people who go oohing and aaahing over a fucking toaster oven: same guys asking for more money than really is needed.

Chojin
Aug 6th, 2007, 08:29 PM
or if you turn it on, since that's the only real function Linux serves

Theres nothing better then snorting lines of cocaine off of a restore disk while simultaneously installing an OS on your E-machine......made of cocaine.....

Why am I seeing you post everywhere? It's not that I'm reading anything that's worthwhile or that is relevant.

Just asking.

You are correct. I've been waiting for important and interesting people to post, and all I've seen is you. I'm upset at these forums.

Vista is about the biggest pile of shit that can slide by as an operating system. My Pa got a new computer with Vista on it and regrets it big time. If you enjoy being frustrated and wish you hadnt bought a piece of shit be my guest in getting it.

Vista gets no cred.

Better inking experience than on XP Tablet '05.

But then my needs are different.

Yes, only vista can truly replicate the experience of owning a pad of paper.

If someone wants an opinion from a blowjob, they'll ask for you by name. Kindly fuck off.

For those who actually looked at the link, both the TinyXP and Win2K isos work and are fully functional in both VMWare and actual installation.
