"The Curse of Milhaven" by Nick Cave. Its fucked up that Nick is singing a narative of a young girl when he has a deep voice. That must be the inner voice of the killer. oooo spooky

Hmm...great question...

"Hurricane" by Bob Dylan (about Rubin Carter)

and

"I Don't Like Mondays" by The Boomtown Rats (about Brenda Spencer)

Virtually all of Macabre's catalogue would be a strong candidate.

Personally, where Nick Cave is concerned, I liked Stagger Lee.

Speaking of stagger lee. Any of the many "stack o' lee" would be nice. I like the Merle Travis version. Speaking of Merle Travis, "Cocaine Blues" is a fun little tune.

Early hours, open road, family of five - on their way home
Having enjoyed a day in the sun, their encounter with gore has just begun
A homicidal fool not knowing left from right, now has the family in his sight
Trying to perceive if he's blind or insane,
he steers his car into the other lane

Both of them collide, expressions horrified
Head on at full speed, the vultures will soon feed

The father of three was impaled on the wheel,
as his skull became a part of the dash
His eyeballs ejected his sight uneffected, he saw his own organs collapse
His seatbelt was useless for holding him back, it simply cut him in two
Legs were crushed, out leaked pus as his spinal cord took off and flew
The mother took flight through the glass, and ended up impaled on a sign
Her intestines stretched from the car down the road for a quarter of a mile

Fourth child on the way, won't live another day
Fetus on the road, with mangled little bones
Little children fly, not a chance to wonder why
Smashed against the ceiling, all their skin burning and peeling
Shards of glass explode, chest and skull now implode
Corpses they've become, and graves will have to be dug

Underneath the wheels, burning rubber on your face
Bleeding from your eyes, the slaughtered victims lies
Knowing what he's done, he just backs up one more time
Laughing at the mess, a pile of meat on the street

One child left slowly dying now, arteries gushing blood
Now it's time to feed on flesh, the gore has just begun

The look of death in my eye
Surely no-one will survive
Just a pile of mush
Left to dry in the sun

I see my fresh kill
Left in the road
Remains of your bodies
Mangled and torn

One child left slowly dying now, arteries gushing blood
Now it's time to feed on flesh, the gore has just begun

Cannibal Corpse win.

Queefer and Helm both took my favourite picks. Cannibal Corpse, circa Chris Barnes :rock , and Macabre's Sinister Slaughter.

Fuck, any song about God could be viewed as a song about a murderer, but I'm not getting into any type of religious debate here.

I can think of at least a dozen things more fun than driving around and listening to ICP, such as stabbing myself in the jugular, shoving cucumbers up my ass, or having sex with a farm animal. More to come, hopefully.

Honestly, who in the name of Fuck admits to listening to ICP?

The Last of the Famous International Playboys....by Steven Patrick Morrissey

The Last of the Famous International Playboys

Dear hero imprisoned
with all the new crimes that you are perfecting
oh I can't help quoting you
because everything that you said rings true
and now in my cell
(well, I followed you)
and here's a list of who I slew
REGGIE KRAY - do you know my name?
don't say you don't
please say you do, I am:
the last of the famous
international playboys
the last of the famous
international playboys
and now in my cell
(well, I loved you)
every man with a job to do
RONNIE KRAY - do you know my face?
don't say you don't
please say you do, I am:
the last of the famous
international playboys
the last of the famous
international playboys
In our lifetime those who kill
the newsworld hands them stardom
and these are the ways
on which I was raised
these are the ways
on which I was raised
but I never wanted to kill
I'M NOT NATURALLY EVIL
such things I do
just to make myself
more attractive to you
HAVE I FAILED?

Sex Pistols suck ass!

With that intelligent response, my song's place on the best list is solidified as the opinions of you and those like you cannot possibly be considered worthy enough to deteriorate the image of one of the best punk bands EVER. Their influence was probably the basis for the bands today that you think "fuckin' rock" and you don't even know it because you're too stupid to look into the history of your own music ... punk.

FlakTrooper
Apr 26th, 2003, 11:03 AM
oh please. The Sex Pistols were talent less hacks. They actualy had to turn down the volume on Sid's bass during concerts because he was such a terrible bassist. They were nothing but attitude and thats it. The only people that site them as influences are people that want to look cool. You want a British punk band that was influencial for good reasons look at The Clash.

kellychaos
Apr 26th, 2003, 11:15 AM
A lot of punk WAS attitude. A lot of punk bands couldn't play more than a few chords. I'm not saying that they were the best punk band. My fav is actually Iggy Pop but I'm a little biased as I'm from Michigan. And yeah ... I do like "The Clash" more also but that wasn't the point of this thread. The person asked for my favorite murder song ... I gave my answer ... and you jumped all over my reply when the "choice of band" had nothing to do with what was being asked.

Royal Tenenbaum
Apr 26th, 2003, 02:23 PM
the Sex Pistols were fine. They may have sucked as musicians, but their punk was about their attitude. Plus, some of their stuff is catchy enough.

I was just listening to Pogo the Clown by Dog Fashion Disco.

She's busy sucking on a ding-dong

I never liked that song. Way overlong. White Light/White Heat was kinda mediocre as a whole and in no way lived up to Velvet Underground and Nico.

This is the band many people on the board are trying to convince me is lighthearted.

That actually wasn't one of their most gory songs. :)

I'll have to go with:

Involuntary Vaginal Vermin Slut - Lord Gore

You defiled my trust, you whore!
Slut, betrayed after all that I've done.
Gave you everything and fucked your brains out.
Ate your snatch like a roastbeef sandwich.
Licked out your asshole and drank your breastmilk.

Heartless, adultress, you crumble underneath my fist.
Never wanted this, but bitch you forced my hand.
You wouldn't suck my dick, and now I understand.
Welcome home, to a world of pain.
Your life is over, your lover's gone fucking... insane.

Behold my instruments of torture,
the hideous vermin mass.
A writhing amalgam of insects,
fills your unfaithful snatch & ass.

Deep inside can you feel them?
As they scratch for a passage out.
Why should you scream to have them inside you
when everyone's fucked that cunt?

I can almost taste your pain.
Filled with hate you scream my name.
Spread your legs one final time
and scream out loud in vain.

Now cunt you will pay my price.
Wriggling sick torture device...
stomach bristling, bulging with my
filthy vermin vengeance.

Now your suffering is almost complete,
tearing the membrane as all of them meet.
Asshole and pussy are torn into one.
Cockroaches twitch and the spilled fluids run.

...seeing as how a Cannibal Corpse song has already been posted.
