Don't get the wrong idea - my Guandongwa is very limited. Embarassingly limited. I SUCK. All I know I've learned from HK triad movies, LMF, and 6 months in SZ/HK and TVB PEARL. I want, no need to be fluent, because I think Cantonese is the coolest fucking language EVER and I want to move to HK and do something other than teach English (not to mention that the liang lois around here think that a guai lo who speaks Guandongwa is q t la!! :love ).

I'm gonna be taking classes soon, but until then, I figured a good way to practice would be to take you on in a Guandongwa MOCK WAR! Something to put on my resume, like. But, if you're scared of getting 0WN3D by a guai lo, I understand. ;)

PS: If I run out of bad words and I ask 'have you eaten yet?' can that still count if I mean it sarcastically??

By the way Jin, name all the curse words in mandarin... all i can come up with is Wang Ba Dang. See? Cantonese is wayy better. Diu ne lo mo hum ga chan ne gou kai dai pok gai la!!!!! I did visit Hong Kong quite a few times though, but now ive immigrated to Australia - its really a nice place.

I loved HK and China during my time there (although from what I hear, SZ is not really China). If I had the chance I'd move back to HK in a second - it's pretty international and English friendly... China OTOH is not exactly an easy place for a foreigner with limited Mandarin skills to do basic things. But from what I hear Shanghai is an amazing city...

I spent all my time in this net bar in SZ playing CS, drinking 'cooling' tea and smoking 555's. I logged in as 'laowai' and I fucking learned how to play that game fast. :die
