This is a movie I've secretly wanted to see for some time now, but I just assumed it would suck because I don't really like Eminem to begin with, and I've heard a lot of negative things about his acting abilities in this flick (from 'most awkward love scene ever filmed' to his inability to express any kind of emotion).

But more and more I'm hearing that it's actually good. Maybe I'll take a few hours out of my life and dl it.

I don't particularly like Eminem either, but I have to say that his acting was good. And I liked the sex scene precisely BECAUSE it was awkward. It was obviously meant to be, and it was done well, I thought.

Hmm, since all of these are positive words towards this movie, I might rent it, or steal it off of my cousin. I have Eminem too, but I'll check out the movie anyway. Isn't "his girl" the same girl that played in Resident Evil the movie?

I have to admit he wasn't that bad of an actor, and even though I do not like his music, he's kinda talented :/. He can do what black rap artists can't do, besides be white :(.

I hated it. I just fucking hated it. Although the rap battles were entertaining in their own right.

I hate when people say he is a great actor. He is fucking playing himself in the goddamn movie, I mean how far of a stretch is it for a white guy pretending to be a rapper from the "streets" to play one? It is like the role he has been practicing for his whole life.

It wasn't nearly as bad as I expected it to be (i.e. Cool As Ice), but it still wasn't anything to brag about seeing, to me.

Just another run-of-the-mill ghetto movie, but mildly entertaining, for once.
