I didn't draw the fox or characters, but i made the background and highlights of the avatar and changed the hair color and added a text bubble to the sig.

Oh look! some half assed backgrounds the likes of which could be found in generic clip art galleries of a "build your own website in 5 minutes wizard". For christs sake filter could make a photo of steaming dog shit look like picaso and there are no "techniques to master" when it comes to filters its just fucking trial and error.

To demonstrate how difficult this art is to create, I decided to try it myself. I am using Photoshop 7 with NO 3RD PARTY PLUG-INS.

I used nothing but the filters included with PS 7. Once I copied the layer, rotated it 180 degrees and then merged them together.
I guess I am a super artist and I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW IT! Excuse me I'm off to charge people to use my backgrounds in their "Make a website in 5 minutes" packages.
