I need to know if I can save myself some time and just write Norwegian letters or if I have to enter an html code for each time I use one. If you guys have fonts that support these, they will look as follows:

Æ - like an A and an E doing the nasty

Ø - like an O with a slash through it

Å - like an angel A

Any good?

It depends on the font type. Most fonts not made to look fancy support characters like those, like Times New Roman, Arial, and Verdana, which this board uses. You can check for those characters in a font in Windows' character map.

I'm going to use Verdana, so my ass seems covered.

It's better to use the Unicode symbol things because, even if it's the same font, different computer systems implement the letters differently. :(

It's also best not to just set one font to something, in case a person's computer doesn't support it.

I usually go with something like:

font face="Verdana,Arial,Helvetica" which covers pretty much everybody.

ok, I'm retarded...
How do you use those letters?
I would like to know because Danno ends in an O w/ a slash through it, & i've been using just a regular O for my name...

hold alt down, use the keypad to make this number sequence(while still holding down alt); 0216, then add two cups flour. Don't forget to hold alt. You can try other combinations of numbers. Enjoy!

Hey, it's not my fault I'm greek.

Edit: Interesting how this forum handles foreign characters. If I remember correctly ezboard just posted a lot of garbled fonts.

Achimp, I am not norwegian. I speak 5 languages, one of them is Danish-very closely related to norwegian. The Scandinavian languages are very similar if you don't include Finnish and Inuit.

:lol to your translation

That't the viking gene. You all have it because we made sure to rape women all over the world until the French ended the reign of vikings in 1066. Damn poofy party poopers.
