Not that it was all sudden, but it's kinda sad to see Data East go. :(

My favorite Data East games were Bad Dudes and Karnov, but who can't forget Ring King? :rolleyes

Holy crap. I loved Ring King. That was the game with the same guy over and over, but each one with a different colored 'fro. And the blowjob asisstants.

I have NO idea. I've been trying to figure it out for a long time, but there just isn't anything in the sport of boxing that even resembles what's going on here.

Burger Time was probably the best Data East game they ever made. Oh, and I couldn't forget Kid Niki.

Cho Aniki has to be the gayest game ever made.

Anyway, so this means that Bad Dudes 2: Even Badder will never come to the PS2/XBox/Gamecube? Shame, I was hoping that the days of having one 'attack' button would return. ;)

The last game Data East made was in 1998. They made a Wonder Swan game. I don't know what the game was, cause I don't really care.

They also did a Cho Aniki RPG/Adventure on Wonderswan. I don't speak Japanese, so I don't know what's going on. I do remember walking into a public toilet and talking to big men taking a leak, though.

Yeah, it was something about it being too similar to SFII. I think there was a character that was so much like Zangief that Copcom tilted. He was a big brute raised by bears in Russia or something.
