Well, there aren't a lot of Californians that post on this site, but those of you who do have no doubt seen those horrible "Be Californian" ag commericals. Anyway, I was reading the newspaper a few days ago when I saw a blurb about an audition for the next set of commercials here in Sacramento. So, if I'm "lucky" I might just get to say "I'm a Californian" on TV and ruin my street cred with the homies.

I dunno. I think its a regional/cultural thing. My mother told me that people from other parts of the country get the impression that New Englanders are very curt. Its all a matter of perception, I suppose.

This thread was supposed to be about me being in a commerical. Anyway, I don't really like a lot of Californians just because the lifestyle here is so busy that people don't have the time to think of others. For example, when I go to the Northwest, people are a lot friendlier, unless they know that you're from California. But I'm from Northern California and we just grow tomatoes and make fun of LA and speak Spanish.

I went to California and they called soda by the name of pop. Some people their said their A's really long, but some didn't.
