I want to hear of some good ones to get. I've already got:

SOTN
Super Metroid
Final Fantasy Tactics
FF7
FF8
FF8 Piano Collection
Super Mario RPG
Super Mario 64

All of them are fantastic, (except for the last one, it just has a few memorable tunes on it) and i want to hear some more OSTs that i currently am not remembering to look up. Any suggestions?

Personally speaking, Some crew (or someone) re-did the Nes Contra soundtrack with actual , guitars bass and what not, i thought it was pretty raw.. If i can find the exact mp3 im talkin about i'll PM it m see what ya think...

Any Final Fantasy OSV, Piano, or Orchestral track is worth getting.

Resident Evil soundtracks. I've got the Resident Evil 2 OST and it absolutely rules. But I've always been a huge fan of that eerie scene setting music that those games established.

Only one I have is the FFVI OST. I normally don't buy sound tracks. I like to spend my money on the actual game to hear the music :)

Some games come with tunes which is always cool.

Recently the Xenosaga OST caught my attention, there's a couple of orchestrated tracks that I really enjoy.

The guys that did Contra are called the Minibosses, they also recorded a bunch of other great old NES tunes.

My recommendations are:

Wild ARMs
Chrono Trigger
Chrono Cross
Brave Fencer Musashi
Donkey Kong Country 1 and 2
Xenogears
Warcraft II (you can rip the audio tracks straight off the game CD, at least with the original release)
Terranigma
Secret of Mana

I thought you meant an actual collection.

You can usually get a game soundtrack for the price of a new video game (or less) and lots of people have huge collections of those...it shouldn't be too hard to put together a collection of actual CDs, if you try.

Fifty bucks for a soundtrack is the must ludicrous thing i have ever heard.
