DANCE FEVER :o i'm all sweaty and ick

There were four DDR 4th Mix Solo machines and the winner of tech gets a trip for two to Las Vegas. I got eliminated in the first round by an oversized dude in an oversized orange shirt (lost by four perfects, but they were judging by score instead of perfects for some reason, and the crazy wacked-out 4th mix scoring system gave mister portly three times my score :<), but i won the freestyle division and got a cd player :>

Now I vow to buy shoes for DDR playing because I wore my platforms which were actually bigger than the tiny Solo buttons.

Apparently Dance Fever's a show on ABC Sundays at 7 pm EST. Or something. Maybe I'll watch it since they gave me a cd player :o

What's a perfect? you should post some more of you music. the last time you did it wouldn't work for me.

When you play DDR, stepping on arrows exactly on-beat gives you a Perfect. A little off gives a Great, but it'll still continue your combo. Even further away from the beat goes Cool, Boo, and Miss.

I got 14 greats and 2 misses and he got 12 greats (Rest of the steps in the song being Perfects). Misses weren't my fault in terms of skill, but were my fault if you consider I was the moron that brought platform shoes to a tournament :<

Unfortunately, in every mix before 6th, your score is mostly influenced by your combo, which got fucked up twice for me :<

I dance in a "primitive" way. Imagine an old movie portraying Africa and showing natives dancing around a cookpot with a white guy in it in the days before political correctness. Thats how I dance. But only if I am in the mood, which is rare.

Those are the big tournaments nationwide right now. The tournament I went to today had a grand prize of a trip for two to LA, VIP passes to a club with a Dance Fever taping, and an entry into a finals tournament with a grand prize of 100,000 dolores.

And I had to wear goddamn fucking platforms :<

I tried DDR once. I accidentally set it on hard and I gave up about 15 seconds in because jumping on 50 arrows per second and missing them all didn't do much for my self-esteem. Plus, people around me started laughing. :tear
