Battlebots: Where is it?

Hey what the fuck ever happened to Battlebots? I liked it and then it just went *poof*.

I know they still have tournaments, but does it even air anymore? Comedy Central is a bad place to put it. :/

I think the fact that Comedy Central was a terrible place to air it and intense competition (Robot Wars) ran it into the ground.

Plus, it sucked. :/

I do agree what before it dissappeared from CC, it sucked. The matches sucked and I changed the channel often.

suck it did. ripp-off Robot Wars it did too. lying about that it was the biggest Robot fighting challenge thing around it did too. As did it just suck mule ass for just taking Robot Wars' concept and brutally raping it by taking all the best stuff out, i.e. Houserobots. Sir Killalot could've handled ANY robot ever in Battlebots ever, seeing as he's basically godlike vs. other robots.

As is the coolest robot competitor, Razor, from the UK Robot Wars. That thing is basically invincible in the newer shows.

If there was one good thing about Battlebots, it was T-Minus. Fuck, that thing was insane.

That and Toro (T-Minus is the same thing by the same creator, only smaller) I loved it when i made heavyweiht robots do a 360 flip in the air.

I love the idea of designing and building my own battle bot but I hate the show. it was boring, stupid, and did not belong on cc.

I TOO HAVE MISSED THIS SHOW LOTS, AND HAVE STARTED DOING THINGS TO HELP ME COPE WITH THE FACT THAT I MISS THIS GREAT SHOW. ONE THING THAT I CAN RECOMEND IS GET ALL OF MOMS SILVERWARE (LOTS, MAYBE ALL) AND START BANGING AS MUCH AS YOU CAN TOGEHTER WITH YOUR HANDS. THIS IS THE TRICKY PART IS TO NOT GET ANY BLOOD!!!!!!

Robot fighting will become cool when they invent good enough audience shields to allow the robots to shoot guns and shit at each other and use really sharp blades (they can't use diamond/carbine/etc. edges now because of the danger of splinters flying into the audience).

I liked Battlebots the first season, back when Sean Salisbury kept saying how shitty all the robots were and they were all built by like kids with their dads and really looked like it. It got gayed up when people started spending thousands of dollars and got sponsors and robots were being built by like corporations.

Also, watching two remote control wedges run into each other is about as boring as you can possibly get.

I only saw one episode. As soon as it said "This match is brought to you by Taco Bell!" I changed the channel and never watched it again.
