just got a program for FTP. I can use it, but I need links to good music ftp's, or something.

here's mine i have thousands of GB of mp3's and you can download them all because you have an ftp program and even though i don't know you that's good enough for me

127.0.0.1 (this is a real IP if you don't believe me try pinging it!)
username: LEECH

I visited your FTP, soundtest, but you didn't have anything that I didn't already have. Thanks anyways. :(

Aw that's too bad... you have to admit the speed is amazing though!

I've never done this before. I know how to use the ftp url's but not an IP. I tried FTP over ssl, implicit and explicit, and regular ftp, but nothing worked. How about the port #?

EDIT: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it

Thanks, I kind of figured that, but when AChimp replied, I thought the FTP server was legit. I guess I don't get the joke at hand. :(

ACHIMP, shut your filthy sewer. At least I don't stalk girls and revere Independence Day as a masterpiece of film. :(

It's not stalking so much as "actively pursuing." >:
