Once, out of curiosity, I attended one of the regular meetings of the anime club at my college. For an hour and a half, the group's chairman regaled us by showing us their favorite AMVs on the classroom's projector. The entire gathering seemed highly thrilled by this, except me.

Edit: Your Rocko vid is sub par even by AMV standards, which is basically like saying that if I had to choose between eating shit and eating your video, I would eat the shit, without ketchup

You know, all you guys have to say is whether you enjoyed my videos or not. I don't create AMVs for a living, I just make them for fun. Your comments were more of insults than criticism. So I just want to say, thank you. Thank you for trying to belittle a forum user instead of telling me of your opinions of the videos - which you are SUPPOSED TO DO - in this thread. Honestly though if you want that kind of thing then here you go

Your videos, like all AMVs, are extremely tedious to watch, since basically all you did was take some disparate clips of a children's cartoon and put them to some song -- there's no art to this. You may as well go cut up some comic strips, tape them together, write in your own dialogue and hand it out over at your local Piggly Wiggly. I honestly think YouTube's quality is bogged down more by shitty AMVs than even the weekly video blogs uploaded by 12 year olds who got a camera for Christmas.

In other words, if mime is the lowest form of performance art, AMVs are the lowest form of recorded art.

Because I was under the impression that this "Youtube" was some kind of super-exclusive paysite where only the finest in professional-grade entertainment is allowed to exist, and the autuers of said material rake in a high enough amount of cash to support a family of six and own a nice house, SUV, bidet, etc. and never need to work a day job again.
