I stole this idea from Tom Scharpling's one-man performance of Road House. I just thought I'd make that clear right off the bat.
Desert Blues, if you don't know, was Johnny Knoxville's first movie. It's a softcore porno movie shot on tape. I uploaded the first few minutes of it to youtube. Link:

I made an alternate audio track as an MP3. Link:

So, once you've downloaded the MP3, let the youtube video load. Then play the MP3. When I yell "GO!" hit PLAY on the youtube video. ENJOY!

Hey guys :(
I worked hard on this, much harder than it would take for someone to download an MP3 and play it in tandem with a youtube video thats turned down :( I'm just saying :(

I re-dubbed every character, retaining the original dialog and changing the music.
Watching it without first might help

OH!
Three dudes are going on vacation (one of them is now famous Johnny Knoxville!), they've rented this primo vacation house that is garunteed to get them all the babes. But LOHAN BEHOLD, three girls show up and claim they've rented the same house!
They confront the landlord about it, who gets them on a technicality in the fine print that they forgot to read!
I hope that clears it up for you

Goddamn, your voice even matched their mouth movements half the time. I don't know if that's a coincidence, or you just read the same script, but I liked it. If you just read the same lines, you're distracting from awkward humor of a second rate porno; it takes away a bit of the humor if I don't know if I should concentrate on the laughable script or your words. If you just redid the voices, than it kinda takes the humor out of both. Think of MXC: Taking a stupid situation (which lets you laugh at how dumb it looks) while completely changing the dialog (letting you laugh at what you say). Or MST3K, where they keep the bad dialog while *adding* their own and making comments.
That being said, you put a ton of work into this, and Paul Simon's "Call Me Al" should be the theme song to... everything.

I guess that means you liked it!
I didn't read anything, but it's the same exact lines. I put a wav of the original soundtrack down on an editing program and recorded my own version below it, then deleted the original wav for the mix-down.
I actually did each character independently of each other. I went through and did all of Johnny Knoxville's lines first, went through and did Rosevelt's, etc. I tried jumping between characters but I couldn't keep the voices straight.
I'm thinking of doing the whole movie. It's a nice thought.

I can't help but laugh when the chick who owns the place says "maybe there is" near the end.
