Is I-mockery OK?
I just saw on the news that almost a million people have had to evacuate and some of the areas are around LA...

When I said I was going as Freddy for Halloween, I meant it. I'm not going in some pansy costume... I'll let the fires make my costume.

Actually with your hair you'd look more like a fucked up Casey Jones. I don't know if that's good or bad.
edit: unless you're gonna let the fire make your hair as well. Then it'd be PERFECT

I don't know too many fires that burn people but when they get to the hair they go, "Whoahhhh! Now hold up here! This has been fun burning your entire body 'n all, but your hair? That's asking a bit much of me! I've gotta call this party off. Take it easy, pal..."
But speaking of Casey Jones... Elias Koteas rocks.

For some reason I thought you meant you'd just let the fire fuck your clothes up a little. Now I see I'm dumb :(

That's what Grease does, it burns.

Boogie, are you serious?
I think all California based Mockers need to let us know if they are on fire or not. I know shit all nothing about California geography and I don't know who to worry about.

I read that one of the areas at risk in California is Burbank. So I thought you, Max Burbank, were probably evacuating. Come to find out Max Burbank has nothing to do with the geographical Burbank. I feel mislead! ;)

Hey Jomb, now is the time to capitalize on the fires by incorporating them into a hacked rom somehow. IS IT IN YOU?

Actually, if I had the time I would hack the GBC Harry Potter game to make dumbeldorf ultra-faggy.
But I'm way too busy right now on other projects. I got a massive ROM-hack project I've already been working on for many months, and I'm also working on an original game. Plus writing articles over at badhacks.net. And running a business.
I need more hours in the day! :boohoo

Everything's cool on my front, 'sept it smells like a burning asshole when you walk outside. That and the sky looks all bright orange. It's like the end of days, Smells like hell, looks like hell and it's raining ash. Brings that Bad Religion song into perspective. At least I don't have to stay in the Superdo- I mean Qualcomm Stadium.

I'm on fire, but it's an unrelated free-basing accident. Youch!

Dear Jixby,
I was living in San Diego (Tierrasanta to be exact) during the last wild fires a few years ago. I remember hopping on the roof of my house to get a look at the fire's proximity, when I saw what looked like a wall of flames less than a mile from my house. Embers had crossed the gorge and it was officially time to evacuate.
The wife started putting sentimental items in the trunk; photo albums, jewelry, antiques, etc. I started loading my old school NES collection and computer related items.
"Why the hell is R.O.B. the Robot in the trunk?" she asked me.
"Because the seat belt won't hold him," was my reply.
It was pretty scary to think about the possibilities. For miles and miles the skies were constantly raining ash, even before we had to evacuate. I remember running my finger across the windshield of my car and it was like wiping off a layer of inch-thick dust. The news stations warned anyone that dared to walk around outside to wear a face-mask.
I am glad you decided not to leave Northern California Jixby. Grandma's Basement > DIAF.

I'm totally serious. The real estate market in Malibu took a huge nosedive a couple months back, and I was able to buy one of those $2 million beach shacks for only $5k. I'm gonna miss that place. Rog has been there a couple times, he'll tell you how cool it was.

5k? Damn, why didn't you grab up like 4 of them? Well, now it would be a shitty predicament, but still.

Not when you cash in that insurance check. Market Value FTW. Cha-ching! It's almost as if Doc stood to benefit from the fires. I smell a CSI show in the making.
In all seriousness, glad you didn't DIAF Boogie. <3

California catches fire at least twice a year for the past 15 years or so. You'd think we'd be crack-aces at controling and putting then out.
The sun bakes the locals I swear.

What's a crack-ace? Oh, and you're in Bakersfield -- might as well be the midwest.
