I realize that these older comics sometimes depict situations where, when taken out of context, are extremely funny given the changes in customs over the years, but my GOD, could we have changed this much? Actually, taken as a stand alone, the original is pretty funny. the "father" really talks like that. Sadly, I think that turns out to be one of the better story lines in comic books.
